Kapu: A soldier from Kalathur of Kapu dies of a heart attack in Jharkhand, where he was posted.
The deceased is Naveen Kumar Karkada. He was 50.
His mortal remains will be brought to Mangaluru International Airport and from there it will be taken to his hometown, informed sources.
Naveen Kumar Karkada was working as a CISF soldier for the last 29 years and was supposed to be retired next year.
MLA Lalaji Mendon, Former Minister Vinay Kumar Sorake condoled Naveen’s death.
