Karkala: 34-year-old woman commits suicide

Karkala: A 34-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging herself on Thursday, January 19 in Kasaba village.

The deceased has been identified as Prithika (34), a resident of Tennaru Road in Kasaba village. She was suffering from mental illness for the past seven years and was undergoing treatment.

On Thursday, she was found hanging from the ceiling using a shawl.

A case has been registered.
