Karkala: Man dies by self-immolation after setting brother’s house on fire

Karkala: A man dies by self-immolation after setting his brother’s house on fire on January 25 in  Saccheripete.

The accused has been identified as Krishna Sapaliga. A land dispute between the brothers is said to be why Krishna committed this act.

He allegedly set fire Shekhara Sapaliga’s house on fire around 3 am. Later, he set himself on fire in his car.

A case has been registered.
