Karkala: Woman slips while drying clothes; Succumbs to injuries

Karkala: In a tragic incident, a woman who was seriously injured due to an accidental fall breathed her last.

The deceased woman has been identified as Kamala Priya B (48), who was living in a rented accommodation in Nitte’s quarters.

On November 24, Kamala had accidentally slipped and fallen when she had gone to hang the clothes for drying on a clothesline, sources said.

She was immediately rushed to a private hospital for medical treatment but succumbed to injuries on Friday, November 26, sources added.

A case has been registered in this regard at the Karkala Rural police station.
