Karnataka Bank wins award for ‘excellence in banking service’

Mangaluru: Karnataka Bank, headquartered in Mangaluru, has won the ET Business Excellence Award 2019 in the category ‘excellence in banking service.’

The bank Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer M S Mahabaleshwara received the award from Bollywood actor Sonu Sood at a function in Bengaluru on September 19, a bank release here said.

On the bank’s achievement, Mahabaleshwara said he was happy to receive the prestigious award and acknowledge that it’s relentless efforts to ensure customer satisfaction at all levels have been recognised with the honour.

“We are committed to emerge stronger by creating new benchmarks for performance,” he said.
