Karnataka Police dept launches new public-friendly app

Bengaluru: With a specific end goal to make the police system more public friendly to get help effortlessly, the police division has designed the “Karnataka State Police” App. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy released the application in a meeting held at the Director General of Police’s office here on June 23.
Talking after the release, the Chief Minister stated, “With this application, the police system is closer to public. Police and individuals should make utilization of the application. This application will be valuable in controlling the crimes. It will enable a man to look for police help at any time and at any place.”
“During my tenure, there should not be any communal conflicts. If anybody tries to blend agitation in the public, strict action would be made against them. Nobody can indulge in illegal activities. If the provocative state of mind proceeds with, they may need to face legal action,” he cautioned.
Deputy Chief Minister G Parameshwara stated, “Karnataka possesses the tenth place in the number of revealed crimes. Work intentionally to diminish the number of crimes. Steps will be taken to fill 14,000 vacant constable posts. Under police housing scheme, the development of 11,000 houses will be done by 2020.”
“In the state, crime is under control as a result of the sub-beat system. The union government has requested to implement a similar model in other states too. This is our pride”, he included.
