In a show of solidarity, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KaRaVe) activists in Belagavi gathered to condemn the arrest of KaRaVe leader Narayana Gowda.
Led by KaRaVe District President Deepak Gudaganatti, the activists staged a protest at Chennamma Circle. Tensions escalated when the activists, expressing their discontent, attempted to set fire to tires.
Police officials successfully halted the activists’ attempt to set the tires ablaze, leading to a physical altercation between KaRaVe workers and the police.
Expressing solidarity with the cause, various pro-Kannada organizations have voiced their support for the protest.
