Karnataka schools to reopen for students of classes 1 to 5 on Oct 25

Bengaluru: Karnataka Government has ordered to re-open schools for grades 1-5 from Oct 25. However, a parental consent letter for physical classes is mandatory.
Also, there will be screening for Covid-19 symptoms on entry. Only 50% of classroom capacity can be filled at one time.
Hand sanitisers need to be provided and one-metre social distancing will be called for where feasible. On teachers and staff who have taken both doses of Covid-19 vaccine will be allowed to teach students of Classes 1 to 5. Additional use of face shield by teachers who are over 50 years of age.
Classrooms and rest rooms will need to be sanitised daily with 1% sodium hypochlorite solution.
