Kasaragod: Body of 26-Year-Old Man Who Drowned in Sea Retrieved

The body of a 26-year-old man, who was washed away into the sea while bathing in Kasaragod, was found at Chembarika seashore on Saturday, March 11.
The deceased has been identified as Ajay Rathod, a native of Madhya Pradesh.
The incident reportedly occurred when Ajay and four other people were taking a swim, and he got swept away by the sea. The others managed to swim ashore.
The search operation was launched by various agencies, including the fire brigade, coast guard police, fishermen, and local people. Despite extensive efforts, Ajay’s body was found lifeless on the shore.
Following an inquest, the Melparamba station police informed that the body will be handed over to his family members after conducting a post-mortem at Kasargod general hospital. Ajay had been living with his family in Bekal Katte Kal for several years.
