Kasargod: Car plunges inside well after driver loses control; four occupants rescued

Kasargod: Four people had a narrow escape after the car in which they were traveling fell into a well in Poochakkad near Bekal on Tuesday, May 3.
The mishap took place after the car driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the wall of the well and plunged inside the well.
Locals who witnessed the incident rushed to rescue them and managed to pull three persons to safety after breaking the window panes of the car. The fourth person was rescued by the fire brigade personnel.
A crane was deployed to remove the car from inside the well.
