Kasargod: Drunk man tries to flee police by biting sub-inspectors ear; held

A 45-year-old inebriated man allegedly bit Kasargod police station sub-inspector M V Vishnunath’s ear after he was taken into custody over a road rage incident.
The accused Stany Rodrigues had reportedly rammed his bike into a van at Ullianthadka and then got into a verbal argument with the van occupants.
Meanwhile, the police arrived on the scene and took Stany into custody. When he was being escorted to the station in the jeep, Stany tried to escape by biting the SI’s ear.
He has been arrested and the SI was given treatment for his injury.
