Kaup: Bike-ambulance collision; Rider succumbs to injuries

A bike rider who sustained serious injuries after an ambulance collided head-on with his bike at Kaup passed away in the hospital.

As per reports, on Sunday, Ritesh was travelling to Udupi from Uchila when the ambulance moving towards Mangaluru from Udupi rammed into his bike.

Ritesh was thrown off his scooter and sustained head injuries.

Locals rushed him to Manipal Hospital in an ambulance from the Kapu Primary Health Centre.
