Kaup: Gold jewellery stolen from scooter

Kaup: A gold ornament worth Rs 48,000 was stolen from the dickey of a scooter that was parked  in Koppalangadi on Friday.

It is said that Pooja, a resident of Udupi along with her cousin had come to Kaup for some personal work. She had parked her scooter in Koppalangadi in Kaup and went to the store to buy a pencil set. Later, when she returned, the gold jewelry was missing.

A case has been registered.
