
Kaup: Two killed in tanker-motorbike collision at Muloor

Kaup: Two young men lost their lives in a tragic accident on Saturday evening when a tanker collided with their bike on National Highway 66 in Kaup.
The victims were identified as Subramanya (30) and Girish (26), both residents of Palimaru Avaralu Mattu.
The accident occurred in front of Mulur West Coast Nursery at Muloor as the Pulsar bike and the tanker were heading towards Padubidri from Udupi side. The tanker, which was coming from behind, reportedly rammed into the bike, resulting in the death of one person on the spot, while the other succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.
The Kaup police circle inspector K. C Poovaiah and Padubidri Police Sub Inspector Purushotham A visited the spot to investigate the incident.
