
KGF 3 shooting to begin this year, reveals producer Vijay Kiragandur

KGF: Chapter 2 has turned out to be a massive hit at the box office with the film crossing Rs 1170 crore in worldwide collections. The film, starring Yash in the lead role continues to draw audience to the theatres and has broken many records since its release on April 14.
Well, people who loved the movie and were awaiting confirmation of the third installment of the movie have good news as KGF 2 producer Vijay Kiragandur has confirmed that the plans are afoot to begin shooting for the third chapter after October this year.
Kiragandur, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar said, “Director Prashant Neel is currently busy with Salaar. Around 30-35% of the shooting is done. The next schedule is slated to begin next week. We hope to complete it by October-November this year. So, we plan to begin the shoot for KGF after October this year. We hope to release the film by 2024.”
He also hinted at filmmakers plan to create a Marvel-style franchise of the hit film. “Going forward, we are going to create a Marvel kind of universe. We want to bring different characters from different movies and create something like Doctor Strange. The way it happened in Spider Man Home Coming or Doctor Strange. So that we can reach a wider audience easily,” Kiragandur told in the interview.
