Yash starrer KGF Chapter 2 trailer crossed 140 million views on Youtube in just four days. The anti-tobacco cell of Karnataka has issued a notice to Yash, director Prashanth Neel and producer Vijay Kirgandur.

As per the reports, the reason for serving the notice is violation of section 5 of COPTA (The Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act, 2003) which prohibits advertisement of, and to provide for regulation of trade and commerce in, and production, supply and distribution of cigarettes and other tobacco products in India as the the teaser of KGF Chapter 2 and movie posters depict Yash smoking a cigarette.

The makers of the movie failed to display the anti-smoking warning message, especially in the sequences where Yash is seen lighting or smoking cigarettes.

The anti-tobacco cell said that such visuals by a star with lakhs of followers , impacts the young minds, influence them to take up smoking, making them vulnerable to diseases like cancer.

The anti-tobacco cell has asked the director to take down the smoking scene from the teaser.
