Kodagu: Six COVID-19 suspects admitted to isolation

Kodagu: Three persons who had returned from abroad and their family members who were showing symptoms of COVID-19 were admitted to the isolation ward at the district hospital at Madikeri informed Kodagu district deputy commissioner Annies Kanmani Joy.
The samples of these COVID-19 suspects have been sent for testing and the results are awaited, she added.
About 77 people from Madikeri, Virajpet and Somwarpet had returned from foreign countries. 74 of these have been kept under house quarantine with regular monitoring of their health.
The deputy commissioner has directed all street food vendors to close down and also restricted selling of meat.
