Kolar: Minister JC Madhuswamy faced severe criticism after a video of him verbally abusing a woman in Kolar went viral on social media.

Reportedly, the woman was asking the minister to clear the encroachments around the lake when the minister apparently lost his cool.

In the video which went viral, the minister is heard saying, “Aye, shut your mouth, rascal (Aye, muccho bayi rascal )” to the woman, the woman came up to him alleging encroachment around the lake.

The minister was also seen wagging his finger at the woman in the video.

Meanwhile, the locals alleged that elected representatives have not been available to the public during the lockdown, and hence, they tried to use this opportunity to speak to their minister.
