Kottigehara: Tractor turns turtle, one labourer dead, another severely injured

Kottigehara: In an accident at the Charmadi Ghat, a tractor carrying two national highway construction labourers turned turtle, leaving one dead and another severely injured.

The deceased is identified as Dibo Shankar Naik (22) from Jharkhand.

The accident took place on Monday, December 5, when the labourers were returning after filling the water in the tractor for highway construction work.

On returning, the driver lost control and the tractor toppled.

Meanwhile, the severely injured labourer has been taken to the hospital at Mudigere.

The Banakal Police visited the spot and assessed the situation.
