K’taka COVID-19 update: 1005 new cases, 1102 discharges, 5 deaths on Dec 24

Bengaluru: On December 24, 1,005 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 1,102 recoveries and 5 virus-related deaths.

With the new numbers, the State’s tally now stands at 9,14,488 total cases out of which 13,508 cases are presently active and 12,044 dead.

Bengaluru Urban district, with 578 cases, reported the highest number of cases in the day. All other districts reported less than 80 cases.
