K’taka COVID-19 update: 1440 new cases, 983 discharges, 16 deaths on Dec 1

Bengaluru: On December 1, 1,440 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State along with 983 recoveries and 16 deaths due to the virus.

The State’s tally now stands at 8,87,667 out of which 24,150 cases are presently active and 11,808 dead.

318 COVID-19 patients are undergoing treatment at intensive care units.

Bengaluru Urban district, with 712 cases, reported the highest number of cases on the same day. All other districts reported less than 100 cases.
