K’taka COVID-19 update: 8865 new cases; 7122 discharges; 104 deaths on Sept 2

Bengaluru: On September 2, 8,865 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from across the State. Also, 7,122 people who recovered from the virus were discharged from hospitals and 104 people succumbed to the virus.

The COVID-19 tally in the State now stands at 3,70,206 total cases out of which 6,054 patients have died till date.

96,098 cases are presently active in the State out of which 735 are admitted to Intensive Care Units

Bengaluru Urban district reported the highest cases at 3,189. Other districts that reported high incidences of COVID-19 cases on the same day include Mysuru(475), Davanagere (222), Hassan (252), Belagavi (454), Udupi(228), Dharwad(342) and Dakshina Kannada(316)
