K’taka COVID-19 update: 9,217 new cases; 7,021 discharges; 129 deaths on Sep 9

On September 9, 9,217 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded from across the State

On the same day,  7,021 discharges of people who recovered from the virus and 129 deaths due to the virus also occurred.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in the State has risen to 4,30,947. Active cases count for 1,01,537. The total deaths toll from the virus in the State now stands at 6,937.

High incidences of COVID-19 were reported from the districts of Bengaluru Urban 3,161, Mysuru  635, Dakshina Kannada 350, Dharwad 264 and Belagavi 263
