Bengaluru: The order passed by the Karnataka Police on wearing seat belts mandatorily by all while travelling by car, is likely to be relooked by the Karnataka Government.
Earlier in the day, the Karnataka Police had passed an order penalizing those not wearing seat belts even in the backseat. It had imposed a penalty of Rs. 1000, under the provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act.
As the orders drew flak from the public, the government decided to relook at the orders.
