Kulai: Thieves enter house, snatch chain from woman’s neck; caught on CCTV

Kulai: An incident where two men entered a house here in daylight and snatched the gold Mangalasutra on a woman in the house before escaping was reported on Tuesday.

The men arrived at the house of Sumati and rang the doorbell. When Sumati opened the door one of them grabbed her, covered her face with a towel while the other snatched the Mangalasutra from her neck and escaped.

Police and fingerprint experts arrived at the site and have started an investigation.

A CCTV camera nearby captured the thieves running away after the robbery.
