Kumble: Adoor resident goes missing; Religious conversion for marriage suspected

Kumble: After a man from Mulleria went missing, locals have espoused suspicions he might have converted his religion for marriage.

Jayarama of Adoor Kaithodu in Mulleria has been missing since March 18. He had informed his family that he was visiting Uppala, but did not return.

According to locals, Jayarama, a mason by profession, was unmarried. He was in a relationship with a woman of another religion. meanwhile, the woman is also missing.

It is being said that woman allegedly persuaded Jayarama to go to a religious center in Ponnani in Kerala to convert his religion.

Jayarama’s brother has lodged a police complaint in this regard.
