Kundapur: Pathetic state of NH-66, locals block Min Kota Poojary’s car

Kundapur: Dismayed at the pathetic condition of the national highway 66 here, members of Highway Horata Samiti on Saturday blocked Muzrai Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary’s vehicle. as it .

Poojary was headed towards Udupi after attending a fuction at Kundapur when the Samiti members alongwith local residents and rickshaw drivers blocked his car and registered protest over the poor condition of the roads.

The minister was apprised of the sufferings that office-goers, as well as other commuters, have to face due to the traffic jams on the service road as a result of flooding during the rainy season.

Later, Poojary spoke to district deputy commissioner and officials of NHAI asking them to resolve the issue at the earliest.
