Lady Goschen baby ‘exchange’ case: Infant passes away

Mangaluru: The baby involved in the ‘exchange’ case of Lady Goschen Hospital passed away on Monday, November 15 after the infant stopped responding to treatment.
The baby was suffering from respiratory issues and breathed its last yesterday at the Hospital.
Reportedly, the last rites of the baby will be held as per the law and the parents have been informed about the baby’s death.
Case details:
A family from Kundapur had alleged that their baby was exchanged at Lady Goschen hospital and filed a complaint was on the same.
The court had allowed for a DNA test to decide parenthood. Samples were sent to Hyderabad. Exactly after a month, the baby lost its life.
