Landslide: Shiradi Ghat closed

Nelyadi: All vehicular movement along the Mangaluru-Bengaluru highway has grinded to a halt after a massive landslide occurred near Marnalli in Sakleshpur.

Along with the mud, uprooted trees also lie across the road. Vehicles along the road are stuck on either directions of the road and traffic movement has come to a halt for an indefinite period.

Last year too a landslide occurred at the same location. Yettinahole bridge is also facin imminent danger. Water from kempuhole is flowing on the road at the beginning of shiradi ghat at two places in udane because of which traffic movement has come to a standstill here aswell.
