‘Last Time we see David Warner in an SRH Shirt,’ says Dale Steyn

Team Udayavani, May 3, 2021, 12:17 PM IST

New Delhi: Former Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Dale Steyn said that the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 could be the last time David Warner plays for the franchise following the developments in the past couple of days.

Warne was stripped off captaincy and dropped from their playing XI on Sunday. On Saturday, SRH in an official release announced that New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson will take over the captaincy

Dale Steyn said that there’s a lot more going behind the curtains and the repercussions will be massive. He also wondered whether the main reason behind Warner’s removal from the team was the criticism of SRH selectors for dropping Manish Pandey earlier in the season
