
Leadership change row: Arun Singh meets Panchamasali Seer

Bengaluru: Amid the leadership change row in the state, BJP’s Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh arrived in Bengaluru on Wednesday evening and held a meeting with party MLAs on Thursday.
Soon after, Arun Singh met Panchamasali Seer, Basava Jaya Mritunjaya, and held discussions regarding the current situation.
It is said that the seer urged Arun Singh to consider the Panchamasali community for CM’s post. The Panchamasaali community is one of the most prominent communities in the state. Many BJP MLAs belong to the same community. But only Murugesh Nirani and CC Patel have been given the ministerial position, Seer added
It is said that the seer expressed his views on CM Yeddiyurappa.
Arun Singh will hold a meeting with party general secretaries today and also attend the core committee meeting later in the evening.
