
Life threat to Mithun Rai: Police arrest three more persons

Mangaluru: Bantwal Rural Police arrested three more persons on Wednesday in connection to the life threat given to Dakshina Kannada Youth Congress President Mithun Rai. With this total number of arrests in the case has risen to six.
The arrested have been identified as Pritam, Karna and Mokshith, reportedly party workers of Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier the police had arrested three Bajrang Dal activists – Sachin, Nishanth, and Karthik.
A video of few persons threatening to behead Mithun Rai if he troubles Bajrang Dal had gone viral on social media. The incident had taken place on May 23 during the BJP victory rally at Badakabail of Bantwal town
