Lokayukta Special court grants conditional bail to Justice Y Bhaskar Rao

Bengaluru: A lokayukta special court has granted bail to former lokayukta head justice Y Bhaskar Rao on Saturday in the state capital on alleged corruption in lokayukta during his tenure. The court has grated bail on two persons surety and a bond worth Rs 1 lakh. The special court has also asked justice Rao not to destroy the proofs proving the allegations against him. He has also been asked not to influence the witnesses those who have records against him in the corruption charges.
Justice Rao was absent in the court on Saturday due to his ill health. Earlier, SIT police had submitted a charge sheet to the special court against justice Rao.
