M T Krishna Babu is the new chairman of NMPT

Mangaluru: Shri M.T. Krishna Babu, an IAS officer from 1993 Batch has been appointed as Chairman of NMPT from 01 July 2018.

Prior to this Babu, was the Chairman of Visakhapatnam Port and has been instrumental in guiding the Port on the path of excellence in cargo handling, as well as developing it as a Green Port.A qualified Engineer.

Babu commenced his career in the NTPC. He has held various positions in local, provincial and Central Govt as an IAS officer.He has wide experience in the Infrastructure Sector and has also held additional charge as Chairman of the Paradip Port Trust , Kolkata Port Trust and Haldia Dock Complex.

NMPT will gain immensely from the dynamic leadership and rich experience of the new Chairman.
