Madikeri: In a tragic incident, two wild elephants were found dead at a coffee plantation here on Monday.
The remains of a male and a female elephant were found at the Attimangala coffee estate in Nelyahudikeri village.
The tuskers are believed to have been electrocuted after coming into contact with high tension (11 kV) electric line, which was hanging low where the bodies were found.
