Madikeri: Woman sent to judicial custody for murdering mother-in-law

Madikeri: A 26-year-old woman has been sent to judicial custody on charges of murdering her mother-in-law in Maragodu village of Madikeri taluk.

The accused Bindu allegedly attacked Poovamma (73) following a fight over a petty issue.

Following Poovamma’s death, due to the assault, Bindu tried to hush up the matter and pass it off as a natural death.

She was taken into custody following an investigation by Madikeri Rural Police.
