Mangaluru: A Hindu woman, who converted into Islamic religion to marry a Muslim man three years ago, has now filed a complaint against her brother-in-law for harassing and stalking her on social media.

Reportedly, the family has demanded dowry from the complainant and kept the husband, Ibrahim Khaleel Kattekar, away from her, but the police have denied this and said that the complaint is only against the brother-in-law for alleged harassment.

It is also gathered that the Vishwa Hindu Parishad members have met the woman at her residence and told her that they would stand by her during the police investigation.
