Mangaluru: 4 of a family found dead at lodge

Mangaluru: Four members of a family were found dead at a lodge on KS Rao Road in the city on Friday.

Police identified the victims to be Devendra (46), his wife, and their 9-year-old twin daughters. The victims were residents of Vijayanagar in Mysuru.

Police suspect the death to be a case of murder-suicide. Devendra is believed to have poisoned his wife and kids before taking his own life.

According to police sources, a suicide note found at the scene mentioned that Devendra has financial troubles.

Further investigations are underway.
