Mandya: Girl with cancer becomes Range Forest Officer for a day

Mandya: A special wish came true for a 14-year-old girl, Aishwarya who has been battling brain cancer.
Aishwarya’s wish came true after she had the opportunity to serve as the Range Forest Officer of Nagarahole Wildlife Sanctuary for a day.
She is a 7th-standard student in Bevakal village of Mandya and is under treatment at a hospital in Bengaluru.
After knowing about Aishwarya’s wish, the ‘Make-a-Wish’ Foundation requested the Forest department to give her an opportunity to fulfill her wish.
“I come from a small village and I had an interest in conserving forest as there is a small forest near our village. after hearing stories from my grandmother about the animals. I wanted to become a Forest officer.”
Make-A-Wish Foundation® of India is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to granting the most cherished wish of children between ages 3 and 18, diagnosed with a life-threatening medical conditions, mostly cancer.
