Mandya: Woman chopped to death; body parts found in Hemavati River

In a shocking incident, a woman was chopped to death and thrown into a nearby river in Bandihole, K R Pete Taluk.

The body, head and limbs of the woman have been found in the Hemavati River. It is said that the incident took place 2 days ago, residents found the body in the river and informed the police.

Later, police officials found the remaining body parts.  An FIR has been filed and police investigation is underway.
