Mangaluru: The Kadri police have arrested four persons for assaulting a young couple near Kadri Park.
The accused have been identified as Yashvith of Kadaba, Sharath of Chikkamagaluru, Dheeraj of Alape, and Abhijit of Bantwal.
They are said to be activists of a Hindu organization.
The accused allegedly assaulted a young couple hailing from North Karnataka on Wednesday. A case in this regard was registered at the Kadri Police Station.
Meanwhile, the accused have been sent to judicial custody.
