Mangaluru: Absconding accused taken into custody

Mangaluru: Police, took a man, who had been absconding after getting bail from the court, into custody on Tuesday.
The accused has been identified as Numan alias K Numanulla Beeran, a resident of Kannur in Mangaluru.
Police said the accused had been absconding after getting bail from the court in a case registered against him at the Mangaluru North police station. The court had issued a proclamation for his arrest.
The accused was produced before the court, which remanded him to judicial custody, police said.
There are 11 cases pending against Numan at various police stations in the district, police added.
