Mangaluru: ACB raid in disproportionate assets case against MCC official ends

Mangaluru: An Anti-Corruption Bureau raid, which started early in the morning at Bejai Kapikad here, has ended.

ACB officials were seen leaving the property of the Joint Director of Town Planning at Mangaluru City Corporation at Bejai Kapikad.

A coordinated raid was held at Jayaraj’s residence at Padil and Bejai and his wife’s quarters at Mahe in Kerala.

It was reported that property worth crores was found at the raided properties.

Officials have reportedly seized document of properties worth Rs 1.5 crore, Rs 1 crore cash in Jayaraj wife’s account, Rs 7.5 lakh in cash and 160 grams of jewellery.
