Udupi: The police probing the Mangaluru autorickshaw blast case have found that the accused Shariq had visited Sri Krishna Math recently.

It has been gathered that Shariq had visited Sri Krishna Math on October 11 and was seen wandering on Car Street.

The police probing the case have already visited the Math and checked the CCTV visuals of the same. Apart from that the cops also monitored the CCTVs around Car Street.

Reportedly, the police visited Udupi after they got a clue through a phone call made from Shariq’s mobile phone whose location was traced to a car street in Udupi.

During his visit to Udupi, a mentally ill woman had sought his mobile phone to make a call. While questing her the police found out that she had used the phone to call her grandson. As per locals, the woman usually does so.

After visiting Udupi, Shariq went towards Karkala and the police are investigating the matter.
