Mangaluru curfew break: People rush to restock

Mangaluru: Streets and markets started brimming with people when curfew was relaxed in the city. After the violent protest in the city, administration had imposed a curfew from 19 to 22 December.
Protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act soon turned into clashes and stone-pelting leading to police opening fire leading to the death of two rioters.
C.M. Yediyurappa had asked the district administration to relax the curfew between 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
