Mangaluru: Digging of roads for laying underground pipelines, electricity wires and construction of drains, is posing a threat to lives of commuters due to lack of warning signs.
Recently, at the main road leading to Bejai from the circuit house, a company which had dug up the road for laying a water pipeline had failed to fill the void created in the middle of the road.
They also did not care to place a warning sign, due to which many unsuspecting vehicle riders who came through this road fell into the trap along with the vehicles.
Several have expressed their anger and also have complained to the City corporation
