Mangaluru: Five doctors test Covid-19 positive; over 30 medical staff quarantined

Mangaluru: As many as five doctors, who are in the frontline in the battle against coronavirus have tested positive for the infection in Mangaluru.

A male doctor, aged 28, and four female doctors (two aged 28 and the other two are 27) are among those who tested positive.

Three doctors were working at Lady Goschen Hospital while the other two were on duty at a private hospital and Wenlock Hospital in the city.

Following this, authorities have quarantined around 30 medical staff, including doctors as a precautionary measure.

It is gathered that these doctors were residing at an apartment in Attavara.
