Mangaluru: Folk Singer, Padma Shri Sukri Bommagowda hospitalised

Mangaluru: Padma Shri awardee Sukri Bommagowda has been hospitalized on Saturday, sources said.
Sukri Bommagowda is receiving medical treatment at the KMC Hospital in Mangaluru for breathing-related issues, sources added.
Belonging to the Halakki Vokkaliga tribe in Ankola, Sukri Bommagowda is a well-known folk singer. She has received several awards for her contributions to the arts, and her work in preserving traditional tribal music.
