Mangaluru: Man arrested for insulting Tulunadu flag

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested a man accused of insulting the Tulu Nadu flag through a Facebook post. The accused was nabbed by Barke and Urwa police officials in a joint operation

The arrested accused has been identified as Surya NK. It is said that he was arrested from Bengaluru.

After the comment went viral, ‘Tweet Tulunad’, a day-long Twitter campaign was launched by Tulu organizations fighting for providing Tulu language its due recognition.
