As per the India Meteorological Department heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over the coastal region from Tuesday, June 2 to Thursday, June 4.

The depression is likely to intensify into a deep depression—the third and fourth stages of any cyclone formation. Hence, the coastal region may receive rainfall ranging from 115.6 mm to 204.4 mm.
